Last Friday (10/28/2007), the Rick Emerson Shows was talking about Britney Spears imminent demise. They thought, "Why should we wait for her to actually die---that we should crank out a "Candle in the Wind"-style death song right now. Moments later, the fine young lads in Portland's own Nickel Arcade called up and offered to write and perform it."
